✔ Speedometer behaves erratically
One of the most noticeable symptoms is a fluctuating or inaccurate speedometer. It may jump around or display incorrect speeds due to inconsistent sensor signals.

Because the transmission relies on speed data, incorrect readings can lead to delayed, harsh, or unpredictable gear changes.

4. Examine the tone ring
Look for cracks, missing teeth, or debris that could disrupt signal generation.
5. Check wiring and connectors
Ensure all connections are secure and wires are not damaged or corroded.
6. Compare wheel data
Identify which wheel is sending abnormal readings to isolate the faulty component.
